So a man came up to Ramakrishna. He was standing by the river and the guy says, “I can walk across the water on that River.”
Ramakrishna looked at him and said, “Wow really that is amazing. How long did it take you to learn how to do that?”
The guy answers with great spiritual airs, “Of course, because I am so spiritually advanced it only took me 18 years to learn.”
Ramakrishna looks at him and says, “Eighteen years! What a waste. For two rupee I can get across that river on the ferry in 10 minutes.”
