Non-duality needs to be a verb. The whole reason we have Advaita, Not-two, non-duality, is because the idea of one doesn’t work well. It’s so easy to take the idea of Oneness and turn it into a thing, turn it into a separate thing. I’m here and I’m trying to get to Oneness over there.
Even in non-duality we do it. I’m here and I’m trying to get to Not-two.
Actually that kind of makes sense. I think I’m me… separate from other things and I’m trying to get to a state of Not-two. But everything moves. So how do we make it a verb? Could it be uniting. I don’t want Unity I want uniting. Something that’s moving.
I am a part of this whole movement. It’s like the whole imagine the whole universe is not pulling me in, I’m there already, uniting with all the illuminated souls.
Non-duality is about moving within life. Instead of seeing ourselves in this static, separate state, move into a dynamic connection with everything.
Then the teachings are just all sorts of tricks to get you there. It’s actually a very simple solution because there’s only one thing that makes you feel separate and that’s what we call your logical mind. Start seeing that that is not you. You are you. Moving, seeing, being, part of everything uniting with everything.
