Spirituality isn’t about me. Actually, if you want to talk about Enlightenment or non-duality, it’s about getting rid of that ‘me’ and becoming an everything.
How do we best do that?
One of the good ways is to continually stop and remember that you’re part of everything. There can come a point where the habitual division drops completely, but until you’re there always take the time to stop and recognize, “Oh. I’m part of everything. the false me doesn’t actually exist.”
That’s an interesting way to look at spirituality. It isn’t about me. That ‘me’ is a false thing. Spirituality is about a true thing; about a real thing; about reality itself.
Non-duality says that you can get stuck very easily if you call ‘it’ a thing. Like even if you call it the universe. Because then that’s something out there. But we are blended together into this enormous not-two existence. It’s not about you. It’s not about what you’re discovering.
It’s about the indescribable.
