You, me, everyone is always in a non-dual state; there’s no other possibility because two things are not happening, there’s only one thing happening. We can only just imagine this duality, and we get stuck in it, and then it amplifies our actions. When we act out of this belief that things are divided, then we’re not in the field of harmony.
This is just a typical thing that the human brain is very good at doing: dividing things up, naming things, creating language. So, that’s why harmony isn’t just something that we created; it’s something that we constantly need to walk in and remember at all times.
This is why native cultures have so many ceremonies to bring themselves back into harmony because they know how easy it is to fall out, and they know how easy it is to come back in.
One more thought: Harmony, you cannot be harmonious all by yourself.
I mean, a lot of that’s obvious; you’re in harmony with the air right now because you’re breathing it in, breathing it out. You know you’re in harmony with where you’re sitting, how you walk through life. It’s really easy to be harmonious with nature, but with our community, we need to be actively remembering to be harmonious with people as well.
Thoughts are always going to be divided, so what’s that part of you that always knows it’s in harmony? That’s what’s underneath all those thoughts.
