And finally, as I end this series on the integration of nonduality and Native spirituality, I want to say: keep up! There is so much going on. The books that are being written today are simply amazing in the areas of science and anthropology, and who we are.
Reading and studying can be very informative for us to realize who we are and how we fit in. Everything is connected. There is a vast interconnectedness happening everywhere, and there is an explosion of knowledge. We can use all of these things to become the very best human beings that we can… hopefully to break through that barrier of ‘two,’ of thinking that you are something else.
Hopefully we can break through the hypnotic draw of the old stories that have told you that you’re bad. Like, who wants to discover who they are if we think we’re bad, right?
There is so much to do.
First of all: keep up. Keep up with everything that’s going on, there’s so much happening.
Two: stop hating humanity. Start really enjoying who we are because we’re so fabulous. It’s great to be a human being… and to be a human being right here now.
And three: really scour through all these conceptions of who you are. Every single one of them, that you see, every belief that you have, every conception of yourself is false These things are invented. If you actually look at it, it will dissolve away.
Same thing with the ego… did you know that. We’re always so afraid, ‘Oh gosh, I have an ego, this is a terrible thing.’ But if you look directly at the ego one time and it will lose its hold. It will go back to being the servant that it’s supposed to be. It will stop trying to be the master when you step forth into the driver’s seat of yourself.
Hopefully, this has been a little bit helpful to you. If it’s just been annoying, sorry, we’ll move on.
But if not… being a human is a vast exciting adventure. Let’s do this thing together!”
