The universe is not going to help you wake up because the universe is sees you as already awake.

If you put on a different outfit you’re still the same person, just in a different outfit. If you put on a different belief system, you’re still the same person, just in a different system.

There’s a different way of looking at things. There’s always a different way. Like, no matter how right we may be, in every moment you can always change. We can open more, and improve, and get better. This is how we need to live to create a new world.

When I look at a sunrise or a sunset I know so much about it scientifically. I know about air and clouds and how colors are made. But it’s the part of me that has no words at all that enjoys it.

Ordinariness is the key to Awakening… actually to having a good life. It’s all the hankering after everything else that drives us crazy.

Maybe the best thing to always search for is curiosity. Because just think how that kind of twists everything around. Instead of searching for answers, search for curiosity.
