Enlightenment in one outbreath—Big breath in… long soft breath out… there, did it work? Probably not, obviously, right? But hold on a moment, and maybe we’ll get there.
Hi, I am Zareen. Welcome to my YouTube channel.
I am absolutely convinced that every single person can realize who they are—because it’s realizing who you are, right? That’s what enlightenment is. And I am also convinced that the best medium for sharing this information is the internet because it’s so available—just like your true nature is totally available.
YouTube is available, and you’re sitting there, relatively by yourself, in a private moment, watching YouTube videos. You ran across this one.
So why would anyone be able to be enlightened in one outbreath?
First, let’s explore why it might not work. And if you followed me along in that first outbreath that I did, and it didn’t work, it’s because you were still putting the moment off into the future—because you had a projection on it, what you thought it was going to be.
I remember when I was a little girl—I don’t even know why—but for some reason, I became convinced that I should be able to fly, or levitate at the very least, or move objects around in my room with my mind.
I became convinced of it. So I would lay in bed and try to do it, and try, and try, and try. And then I would get to that moment where I was absolutely convinced everything was going to move, and I’d get scared and stop. Or I’d kind of clue up and stop, one way or the other. But the whole thing was—I was trying to push something with my mind. And reality doesn’t need to be pushed. It doesn’t want to be pushed. Reality wants me inside of it, living fully.
Like, it’s absolutely easy for me to move anything with my mind—like, I can just simply decide I want to move my glasses, and I pick them up, and they’re moved. I can decide I don’t want them on my face.
I am already exactly what is needed to interact with my life and all the life force around me. I am. I am a perfect thing already. So I don’t need to push and force with my mind.
So very often, if I say, “One outbreath, and you can become enlightened,” more than likely, what your conditioned mind is going to do is breathe in and try to force something into happening instead of just simply allowing what is there to happen.
So if we can just somehow step beyond that misconception—just think of it again. How easy can I move my glasses? That easy, right?
It really just kind of took a thought. Think—oh, hand, go over, pick up the glasses. Oh, I did it. That’s how amazing it is to be a human being. We can do it and know we’re doing it, right?
So first of all, this is kind of just to work you into the idea that what you are, this exact moment, is exactly what you’re supposed to be. There’s kind of just a little virus running around in your head that’s telling you you should be something better, or that you’re not good enough, or that, you know, it’s got to be some miraculous thing that you read in a book somewhere or something like that.
So if I can just talk you into just a moment of complete self-acceptance, then the outbreath is going to work. Because you do need a little moment to be able to step back into yourself and go, “Ah, yes, I’m me.”
So if we use our outbreath as just simply stopping—not actually pushing (remember the pushing idea when I was a little girl)—not pushing a stop, but just allowing a moment of restfulness, of complete restfulness and ordinariness to come upon us…
So let’s do that. And what you’re going to find when you do this outbreath in complete relaxation is that you have a moment of total ordinariness. And in that moment of total ordinariness, it is just obvious—who is experiencing this normalness?
You are just a nothingness inside of nothing.
You are an everythingness inside of everything.
You are simplicity inside of simplicity.
So relax. Hopefully, the smile on my face is making a smile on your face. And I’m totally me. You’re totally you.
It sounds like a mystery to talk about it, but experiencing it is not mysterious at all.
It’s just normal.
Do it again.
Nothing. Everything. Me. You.
It’s that simple.
Enlightenment in one outbreath.
