For the end of this week let’s revisit Atisha’s exercise in a very simple way.
What you do is you breathe in all the pain and suffering of the world. Don’t take it personally, just breathe it in. Then breathe out all the peace and joy that exists. Use yourself as a battery for this transformation.
Don’t be afraid of the negative. The negative is nothing that’s going to hurt you because you are a transformative force in yourself. Just remember to it simple. Keep it simple. simple, simple.
When bad things happen in your life and you’re just feeling so blah… think of Atisha’s exercise. Add it to your spiritual practice. Maybe before you sit down and and meditate breathe in all that negative, breathe out the positive.
