Using the Full Brain Capacity

So, imagine the level of intelligence that it would take for a human being to live in a tribal society. You would have to know how to get along with everyone around you. You would have to know how to stand up and, with the people around you, walk out and find something to eat, bring it home, and prepare it. You would have to know how to create, you know, all your clothes, all your housing, and everything together. You would start learning from the day you’re born all these very, very complex tasks. So, don’t believe the history that we’ve been told that native people were ignorant savages. They actually used more of the capacity of their brain than we do today.

– Using the full capacity of the brain –

What if, instead of seeing people in prehistory, before civilization, as ignorant savages, we started thinking about them as human beings who used the full capacity of their brain? What if we started to realize that our education, and the way we’ve been taught, and our history, and even our language itself, focuses us on what we call the left brain, the critical brain, and ignores the vast intelligence that lives within our full ability to perceive? What if we saw ourselves as broken that way, lacking capacity? Then what if we saw spirituality is the thing that opens up the full range.
