What does Nothing Look Like?

Okay, all playing aside… well with me it probably won’t stay aside for very long. But this week’s Zen story, Where the Wind Takes. It’s the two young boys who are meeting on the path. And the one boy is trying hard to follow the rules and look spiritual like his monastery. The other boy, is in the end, just going to the market.

You can’t look like nothing. And this is so important to understand. If you’ve followed any of my teachings, if you’ve done any of the courses, on my website you’ll know that nothing is actually what we are looking for.

And it’s not something you can look like. It’s just living your life in an every day manner. Go to the market when you are going to the market. It’s like last week’s story when the prince was getting ready to shoot the vulture he was doing nothing but shooting the vulture.

So just that relaxed, simple nothingness. That’s what this story is about. What does that look like?

It doesn’t look like anything. Or perhaps it looks like what you already are.
