Our Sunrise teaching is such a great teaching because it blends science and non-duality. Knowing how the world works helps us see our minds, and see how our minds work.
Like, how does the wind blow and turn into electricity? We kind of know that. Engineers and scientists know all the details about it. The rest of us? We don’t really need to know every single bit of it, but it really helps put our world together to know how things work.
When I have an understanding about the world I worry about it less. If we worry about it less then we stop making up stories.
It’s also interesting to know that there are people who know the answers to things that I have no clue about. It stays a wonderful mystery to me and yet I can still see it happening.
Non-duality is about becoming one who really knows that you don’t need words to understand things. Then we can stop grasping.
