How to get unbrainwashed?
The actual Secret is you can’t. Your brain’s purpose is to get washed. Its purpose is to easily fill up with things. It fills up with perceptions, and ideas, and words and stuff like that. That’s it’s job. You need it to do that.
To prove this, let’s go ahead and brainwash you. You’ll see how simple and easy it is to do. And then you’ll be able to see how you can gently watch things happen in your brain. Once you are not addicted to what’s going on inside there, then you are free.
We’re going to just brainwash you with a little song. There is a snippet of the song below. Sing along with me and this tune will get stuck in your head. As you go through the rest of your day you will notice it there. It will come and go.
Don’t try to fight it. Just notice and enjoy. Go, “Oh! Nice tune!” Watch it come and go.
Maybe ocassionally think, “Wow. That got put into my brain from a YouTube video… amazing!”
It’s not going to do anything to you except hopefully make you more aware of how your brain works, and maybe you’ll occasionally get up and dance.
The words are:
Om Mahadeva Hari. Om Mahadeva Hari. Om Mahadeva Hari Om.
Bolinda. Boli, Boli, Boli Na.
Meaning: We’re singing “Oh great wonderful Mahadeva. Chant, chant, Chant in praise. We’re chanting about chanting
There you go. You are now brainwashed in a way that you can watch it, and see it, and remember. Ultimately what we’re looking for is: who is looking? Who is listening to this song as it goes through your head? Who gets to choose whether to believe it or not? Who chooses whether to take it seriously or not? You choose how to use it. You can use it to make your heart lift. You can use it during your day to calm you down. You can use it for good or bad. Your brain is always being washed.
The question is, “Who are you?”
