Logical thinking is a useful tool to create less confusion in our lives. It’s not wisdom; it’s not intelligence itself, but it’s a fabulous tool for learning how to use our language and our thoughts beneficially, rather than letting them create chaos.
Lots of crazy thoughts are going on in our minds all the time. If you sit quietly, you’ll notice this. It can be craziness in there.
Take a breath. Let it calm.
There are a lot of principles and strategies of thinking that can make us better human beings in the end. However, it’s finding a balance that makes a good life.
If you get captured in pure dry scientific thinking where everything can be measured thing, you’re gonna be a little crazy.
If you go the other way believing that, “Everything is just pure love. All I have to do is some spiritual practice, or read the next book,” you’re gonna be a little bit crazy.
So, finding the balance between the two is key. You have a mind, use it. You have spirituality, use it. You have emotions that can help you connect better with the world. These are your tools for being a full human being.
As we all become better, more mature, more balanced human beings, then we are going to be the agents that can bring our world back into balance.
