Nonduality is essential, something that we don’t really think about too much. But look at it this way: every single human being who is living in a divided state is living in a destructive state. Because as long as we think we’re divided, then we’re going to be constantly trying to fill the hole that that creates in us. Because being divided brings, you know, longing and aching, and you don’t feel like you belong, and you can never be good enough, and you have to constantly, constantly fill that with doing and trying and striving and buying. And it’s destructive. So when we have 8 billion human beings on the planet living in this fundamentally destructive way, we’re going to destroy the planet. The natural human being, the nondual human being, understands how they blend into life and everything, understands their place and their responsibilities for life. So it’s essential. It’s not just a little game that you’re playing in order to get stuff. It’s important. And add that into your nondual search, and you’ll find a surge of energy. Because when it boils down to it, human beings care about each other, and we care about the Earth that we live on, and we care about things. And so when you realize how essential coming awake is, that brings a lot more energy for you to find yourself and wake up and become a dynamic, giving, responsible, sharing human being.
